Faith House Rules

Overview

Faith Powers are now independent of a character's fate points and use their own resource pool called Faith.

  • A character's maximum Faith is equal to their WPB*2.
  • Faith regenerates at a rate of their WPB/24 h, unmodified by unnaturals and independent of rest or other factors.
  • New Faith talents may be bought any time as soon as the Pure Faith talent is unlocked, which costs 500 XP once (was 400 XP).
  • Upon acquiring Pure Faith the character must immediately choose a specialization for one of the three Faith Power categories: Emperor's Sign, Emperor's Mercy, Emperor's Wrath. This specialization reduces the cost of acquiring a Faith Power of the matching category by 50 XP.
  • Faith Powers are organized into four tiers, which determine their cost of acquisition (see table). Details on each individual Faith Power are found below.

  • Some Faith Powers can cost permanent Faith. Permanent Faith may be bought back at a rate of 150 XP per Faith.
  • Unlocking Pure Faith also grants the Talent Divine Meditation: The faithful may perform a Very Hard (+60) Willpower test, which is easier by 20 for each day since the last use of Divine Meditation. Each Degree of Success restores 2 Faith. Performing a Divine Meditation requires 15 minutes of peace and quiet.
